Rev. Henry & Rosanne Poitras
Pastor Henry and Rosanne Poitras are passionate about teaching, mentoring leaders, and helping churches grow. Pastor Henry has taught in Bible colleges, trained ministry teams across North America and even overseas, and helped launch community initiatives such as homeless shelter
and daycare programs.
Pastor Henry is recognized as a sought-after leader whose education and experience uniquely position him to guide non-profit organizations in project development, funding, and management.

Together, he and Rosanne are committed to building a welcoming, Christ-centered church that impacts Calgary and beyond.

Pastor
Rev. Trevin & Janessa Poitras
Pastor Trevin and Janessa Poitras serve together at The Pentecostals of Calgary along side his parents.
Trevin moved from New Brunswick in 2008, completed a BA in Economics at the University of Calgary, and has over a decade of experience in Calgary’s energy industry.
He is known for his engaging, story-driven preaching and also serves as Treasurer,
providing leadership in administration and
discipleship development.

Janessa grew up in a pastor’s home in Ontario and has been actively involved in missions work across Europe. Trevin and Janessa are passionate about building a welcoming, Christ-centered church family and investing in the future of God’s work in Calgary and beyond.
Music Department Lead
Nicole Stuckey
Nicole Stuckey, originally from Louisville, Kentucky, has loved music ministry since childhood. She began piano lessons at age 5 and joined her church choir at 8.

She earned an Associate’s Degree in Church
Music from Gateway College of Evangelism
(now Urshan College) in St. Louis, Missouri,
where she sang in the Choir, Chorale, and
the “United” ensemble, touring around the US.
Nicole has served in music ministry for
more than 20 years.
Men's Department Lead
Dillion Lacroix
Dillion LaCroix has a respected ministry for the men of the church—calling them to be Christian men of honour.
He delivers wonderful, thought-provoking lessons and also shares encouraging notes through text to strengthen and inspire the men throughout
the month.
Youth Department Lead
Ronzl & Ferlyne Valera
Ronzl and Ferlyne are both passionate about leading youth ministries and organizing events throughout the year that invite all to join in fellowship and renewal. He encourages young people to take active roles in key areas of
the church.
Every Sunday, youth gather for classes during the service where they are encouraged, strengthened, and equipped to grow in their faith.

Rosanne Poitras
Rosanne serves as the Ladies Director, bringing women together in unity and strength.
She encourages them to stand firm in the
Lord and to never give up.
Rosanne Poitras has a genuine heart for children and faithfully leads the Sunday school department with love, guided by her gentle and compassionate spirit. With many years of experience in children’s ministry, she continues to pour wisdom and care into the next generations.​
Tagalog Lead
Walter & Marilyn Dela Cruz
Walter and Marilyn together faithfully bring the Filipino community together for times of fellowship, offering phenomenal support to new immigrants and serving as a bridge that
connects people.
Every third Sunday, after church, the Filipino community gathers to share in meaningful fellowship and encouragement.
Spanish Lead
Rev. Juan Arias
Pastor Juan Arias has a heart for reaching the Spanish-speaking community.
Once a month, he hosts a Spanish service where everyone is welcome to experience uplifting worship, lively songs, and the preached Word in Spanish. God is working to reach the Spanish community.
Soundroom Lead
Vivian Harris
Vivian Harris oversees our sound and technical production, ensuring high-quality audio for both in-person and online services.
With years of faithful service, he plays a vital role in creating a seamless worship experience, supporting the growing technical needs of our church and its ministries.
Media & First Impressions Lead
Joel & Vera Shilling
Joel and Vera share a deep passion for hospitality and creating meaningful first impressions,
and training others in these important areas
of the church.
They assist and train the teams responsible for guest experience, media, music, and video, using their creativity to ensure every visitor feels truly welcomed and every experience at our church
is shared with excellence.
